Our annual Used Book Sale is a three-day event held in the Morris Lawrence Building at Washtenaw Community College.
The net proceeds from the sale are used to support national and local scholarships for women. We support scholarships for undergraduate women at the University of Michigan, Eastern Michigan University, and Washtenaw Community College. In addition we send thousands of dollars each year to the AAUW Educational Foundation for graduate fellowships.
Our 2007 Used Book Sale (our 55th annual) grossed over $40,000. Net profits will be used to provide scholarship money for women. Many thanks to the 120 branch members who contributed their time and effort.
